Description
Documenting violations during an internet shutdown is risky. Shutdowns come during times of increased human rights violations, and inhibit people’s ability to get critical documentation to media, investigators, allies, and international audiences.

  • update apps + operating system
  • turn off location services, Bluetooth, Wifi
  • use a 6 digit passcode and lock timer
  • power down when not using
